Our doctoral program was initiated in 2010, as the first Ph.D. program in Occupational Health and Safety in Thailand, to provide advanced professional knowledge and skills to candidates to ensure their fulfillment upon graduation to serve as advanced specials, researchers, or faculty members in academic institutions.

The design of this program is also focuses on the conquest of ethics and morality of students to conduct scientific research, knowledge excellence and professionalism in occupational health and safety, exposure assessment, data analysis and research evaluation systematically, synthesis of knowledge in occupational health and safety, and related field aims to solve complicated problems. The education system aims for learners to attain academic achievement through learning-centered education, outcome-based education, and constructivism. It leads to curriculum justification in promoting mankind's quality of life, among those in social and cultural diversity via the multidisciplinary team, agencies, partners, and networks perform role models with good self and social responsibilities. The innovations of occupational health and safety are created for health promotion and the reduction of occupational diseases.

Program Objectives: By the end of the study in this program, Ph.D prepared graduates will have qualifications addressed by graduate studies standards as follows:
  Adhere to ethics and morals in academic work and research
  Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills of occupational health, safety, working environment and exposure assessment
  Analyze, criticize and conduct research in occupational health, safety, working environment and exposure assessment
  Work cooperatively with responsibility and leadership
  Utilize information technology, mathematical analysis and communication skills
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs): Upon completion of the program, the graduates are able to:
PLO1 Demonstrate ethical conduct.
PLO2 Show the professional skills and core knowledge of occupational health, safety, exposure assessment and working environment.
PLO3 Analyze and conduct research research ethically to address occupational health, safety and exposure assessment issues for the new knowledge of occupational health and safety.
PLO4 Apply the major theories and research procedures to contemporary problems related to safety and health at work.
PLO5 Create leadership for enhancing team building and effective working relationships.
PLO6 Apply information technology, mathematical analysis and communication skills in occupational health and safety.
Total Credits: Plan 2.1 – For students with Master's Degree
  Not less than 48 credits
Plan 2.2 – For students with Bachelor's Degree
  Not less than 72 credits
